On December 13th, in Pune, HIV Medicine Association of India held a press conference, announcing its formation, stating its mission and giving a broad outline of its first year goals at the Institute for Infectious Diseases' quarterly symposium, "HIV Medicine Update." Board members Sanjay Pujari, Atul Patel, N. Kumarasamy, and Jehangir Sorabjee were all on hand to answer reporters' questions.
